- National Center for Environmental Assessment (U.S. EPA) - NCEA is EPA's national resource center for the overall process of human health and ecological risk assessments; the integration of hazard, dose+response, and exposure data and models to produce risk characterizations.
- National Exposure Research Laboratory (NERL) - Conducts and sponsors studies and provides information on stressor sources; pollutant transport, transformations and exposure; and source+to receptor predictive exposure models for environmental stressors.
- National Health and Environmental Effects Research Laboratory (NHEERL) - EPA's focal point for scientific research on the effects of contaminants and environmental stressors on human health and ecosystem integrity.
